Launched by beauty therapist Karen Sylva, the store offers professional guidance and advice on any skincare issue with a trained therapist on hand daily to guide consumers to the products most suitable for their requirements.

The Appuru online site complements the recently opened store and mirrors the ranges in-store. The website offers free postage and packaging with every order, and each customer receives a free sample gift within their parcel.

Based in Moreton Street, Pimlico, the location is well-known for its couture designers, antique shops and galleries and is bordered by the prestigious areas of Belgravia, Westminster and Chelsea. It is the perfect location for a specialist beauty emporium such as this.

Appuru takes its name from a Japanese translation of the word ‘apple’, and provides the perfect inspiration for the concept of the store. Karen Sylva adds: "We liken Appuru to its namesake: crisp, refreshing and good for you and your body.

Every range stocked by Appuru has been rigorously tested to ensure it meets my exacting standards. With natural and organic properties foremost in my mind my aim is to encourage my consumers to reduce the number of synthetics and chemicals they put onto their bodies.
