Hennumi lavender scented pouches, eye masks and cushions make great Christmas gifts
(19/09/2008)
Beautiful lavender scented pouches, eye masks and cushions by Hennumi make great stocking fillers and Christmas gifts. Every item is handmade using the off-cut fabrics from DePLOY demi-couture, so is ecologically sound too, and the puches are filled with chemical-free lavender.
Tosin Trim, Hennumi’s designer, aims to promote an appreciation for the value of unwanted fabric and clothing by re-using such material in the creation of desirable accessories and soft furnishings. Subtle hints of previous uses of fabrics can occasionally be seen, such as the reuse of buttons and button holes from men’s shirts on the cushions.
Hennumi sources material from DePLOY demi-couture womenswear and beyond, making use of its off-cut fabrics to create complementary accessories, often customisable to serve multi-functional purposes. Hennumi and DePLOY’s collaborative design and production approach allows for more efficient usage of both material and human resources and offers a complete palette for the style and ethically conscious customers.
