Morph and Chas bookends are set to liven up any library
(31/07/2009)
Aardman Animations first created Morph and due to his huge success, they went on to supply this cheeky little chap with a whole cast of clay family members. For anyone who has yet to see Morph in mouldable action, he was a 6” high plasticine creation who spoke in gobbledygook and could change shape as and when he pleased. Much to Tony Hart’s dismay, Morph would cause havoc in his studio; making a mess of his drawing board and generally causing trouble. This was all before Morph’s mischievous cousin Chas had even been made!
So if you’re really missing Morph, why not hold onto to a piece of Hart history with the Morph and Chas Bookends?
Who could forget the loveable and mouldable little chap Morph? Whether we remember him the first time around or we’ve heard endless stories about ‘the good old days’ from our parents, there’s no denying that this cheeky clay animation will live on forever! Morph even celebrated his 30th birthday this year and without looking a day over five, this nostalgic plasticine pal has taken our hearts by storm once again. He got his TV break on the late Tony Hart’s ‘Take Hart’ show and has been a huge star ever since. The show even won a Bafta in 1984!
The fun and funky Morph and Chas bookends are set to liven up any library, study room or office! Whether you’re tackling a textbook on Taxation or struggling to study Shakespeare, the Morph and Chas Bookends are the perfect way to make things a little less boring! Measuring approximately 16 x 18 x 8.5 cm, these novelty bookends are just perfect for shelves, desks or even bedside tables. With Morph doing all the hard work on the left and Chas casually leaning against the books on the right, it’s easy to see why there were so many rows between these two chaps! There are even some fake books included to start off your very own literary library. With titles including ‘Metamorphosis’, ‘A Mischievous Life by Chas’ and ‘My Life at the Top by Morph’, it’s a shame you can’t actually read them! Maybe we’d understand these crazy little creations a little more if you could!
The Morph and Chas Bookends also feature a metal base under the books, which gives extra support to your study books! Books don’t have to be boring; liven them up with these retro reminders of the classic 80’s. Sure you’ll be hunting for clips of this troublesome twosome on the Internet, but you should manage to get your nose in the books afterwards! They also make a great gift for any bookworms you happen to know. If your sister’s studying in her second year at uni, why not add some fun to Freud’s theories and funk up her room at the same time? Just make sure she keeps her eye on them, otherwise her housemates might get their hands on them!
So don’t settle for a pile of unorganised books and study guides; funk things up with the retro Morph and Chas Bookends from Find Me A Gift.
