London Gift Fair offers sourcing opportunity for updating Christmas product lines
(22/07/2010)
Due to be held from 12 -14 September in the National Hall Olympia, the new London Gift Fair will be located alongside the well established Top Drawer, giving buyers two unique buying opportunities in one location. Organisers have already reported a “significant surge” of visitors registering to attend this new retail show.
The show offers a perfectly timed sourcing opportunity for updating Christmas product lines. There will be a wide range of product to discover, including general gifts, home, fashion & jewellery, greetings & stationery, china & glass and collectables.
Stephanie Tod, of Cascade & Cascade Too, in Surrey said, “I’m keen to see the new companies that will be at London Gift Fair this September. We will be visiting our existing suppliers to see what’s new, but love to discover brand new companies to keep our range up-to-date. Trade shows are where you get the ‘bite’ of something exciting that you know your customers will love. I’m looking forward to London Gift Fair and seeing what new products are on offer.”
Another supporter of this inaugural event is Alexis Cates of Fulham Palace Garden Centre. Alexis said: “When we attend a show, we are trying to find something new and exciting that would appeal to our demanding customers. We are always on the lookout for new companies and products to give us the edge over others. I’m really looking forward to visiting the London Gift Fair. Christmas is a very busy time for us, so having the opportunity to stock up on last minute products in time for the season is key.”
Naomi Hird, Marketing Communications Manager for London Gift Fair summed up the positive response, she said, “We have been thrilled by the response of buyers from London and the South East and the resulting surge in registrations to attend this exciting new event alongside Top Drawer. Clearly the location, last minute Christmas buying opportunities and the chance to visit two unique events has been met with a great response from buyers.”
