This year sees ercol celebrating its 90th anniversary. The ercol story spans many eras of changing tastes and the designs have moved with the times, always reflecting contemporary style and new technologies. Renowned for its mix of heritage and great new designs, ercol is proud to remain today the UK’s largest manufacturer of solid wood furniture.

To mark the 90 year anniversary, ercol is re-issuing the iconic Originals Nest of Tables in two new editions and the Butterfly Chair in walnut wood. Designed in 1956 by ercol founder Lucian Ercolani, the trio of tables retains a modern appeal and today is recognised worldwide as a mid-century design classic. The special edition Nest of Tables has been lovingly and authentically reinterpreted, and remains true to the original hand crafted finishing techniques ercol is renowned for.

The clean curved lines of this design suits the new multi-coloured Nest of Tables, and creates a contemporary pop of rainbow hues that’s guaranteed to make a style statement in any home. The largest table is painted in teal, the middle table in coral and the smallest table completes the look in a red ochre shade.
