TVClean will keep your iPad and touchscreen laptop dust and dirt free
(06/09/2010)
Many people can’t wait to get their hands on the new Apple iPad. Unfortunately that could be the problem: eager fingers will leave greasy marks on the screen attracting dust and dirt. Traditional cleaning methods such as cloths, wipes and sprays can potentially scratch or damage the surface and does not remove the dust, it simply moves it around. Moreover sprays can damage the sensitive coatings used on screens to reduce glare.
Thankfully help is at hand in the form of the TVClean. TVClean is a new device which gently removes dust and particles from any glass surface using a special rubber roller. The particles are then transferred to an adhesive roll for disposal.
TVClean was designed and developed by MESO Design in conjunction with Teknek Ltd. The technology used in the TVClean has been used for many years by screen manufacturers when making and assembling flat screen TVs and PCs.
TVClean developer and designer Gregor Aikman of MESO Design said: “iPad user may find their experience impaired by the presence of dust and greasy marks on the screen. The TVClean is guaranteed not to scratch or damage the surface and can pick up particles as small as 1 micron.”
The TVClean is complemented by a special microfiber cloth designed to effectively remove finger and grease marks and retails at just £19.99.
